GlobeX Data Update on Latin America Sales

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / September 21, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF)(CSE:SWIS) ("GlobeX" or the "Company"), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to report that activity has now restarted in Central and Latin America, after a long pause due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The Company has been presenting its SekurSafe business collaboration, security and email solution to more prospects of its partner Telcel in Mexico in the last two weeks, as Telcel has been on a campaign to educate businesses about the dangers of cyber-attacks. GlobeX Data will be presenting its security solution to over 300 enterprise clients at a special virtual event organized by Telcel. At the request of America Movil, GlobeX Data is also planning to integrate its secure communications solution bundle Sekur sometime this year for sales to start in 2021. Telcel has over 75 million subscribers in Mexico, and is the Mexican mobile operator division of America Movil, the third largest mobile operator in the world with close to 400 million subscribers worldwide.

Additionally, GlobeX will start training the resellers of Micronet, its master cyber security distributor in Central and Latin America and Spain. The Company is planning to start sales in the Republic of Panama and the Republic of Colombia starting October 2020. GlobeX Data expects to train approximately 15 new resellers in 2020 and possibly another 15 in 2021. The Company has been discussing with Micronet Colombia and Micronet Panama and expects to sell between 1000 to 5000 licenses of Sekur and SekurSafe by the end of 2021 with an increase of 50% by the end of 2022.

Alain Ghiai, CEO of GlobeX Data said: "We are happy to bring our Swiss hosted security and privacy solutions to the Central and Latin American countries. The region has suffered a tremendous amount of cyber-attacks lately and there is no end in sight. Whether you are an individual, a SME, an Enterprise or a government organization, you need protection from email cyber-attacks, and data theft. Central and Latin America ranks among the highest targeted regions for cyber-attacks and this is damaging their respective economies. Our strength in using proprietary technology, Swiss privacy laws and no third-party platform such as AWS, MS cloud or Google cloud, puts us in a unique position to provide true privacy and security. We are aiming at introducing especially our new Sekur solution suite which includes secure email, secure file share and secure messaging. GlobeX is here to provide the proper protection to all documents, emails and instant message communications."

According to a publcation by insightcrime.org, in Colombia authorities reported 160 complaints of cyber-fraud during the weekend prior to its official lockdown on March 24, a 60 percent increase compared to the same period in 2019, Cali's El País reported. In Mexico, tech experts warned in an interview with El Financiero that as the workforce transitions to home offices, retail and financial sectors will be among the most targeted. Additionally, criminals in Puerto Rico Guatemala and Mexico have also been exploiting fears of the health and economic crises to perpetrate phishing scams aimed at collecting sensitive information that allows them to commit insurance and identity fraud. The emails lure people with promises of government stimulus money, or COVID-19 tests and vaccines. The links that are then clicked solicit personal information or introduce malware.

Sekur is the Company's Swiss hosted secure communications suite, which includes encrypted messaging, voice recording transfer, self-destruct timer, an encrypted email account and a secure file transfer solution. All data is secured using GlobeX's proprietary encryption technology and is hosted exclusively in Switzerland for ultimate privacy.

Sekur includes the Company's proprietary anti-phishing and anti BEC attack security and privacy feature called SekurSend®. SekurSend® lets a user send an email to any other recipient, whether they have Sekur or not, in full privacy and security as the email never leaves Sekur's encrypted email servers based in Switzerland. The recipient can then click on the notification and reply in the same manner using SekurReply®, without the recipient having to register for a Sekur account. The sender can also decide to protect any email sent by adding a password to open it, a read-limit and a self-destruct timer as well. Using the SekurSend® feature allows the senders and recipients to add limitless size attachments to the emails without crowding the recipients' email box. This also guarantees to eliminate BEC attacks for businesses and email phishing attacks. Additionally, Sekur includes the Company's latest SekurMail technology, which includes full control of email delivery, automatic data export for large Enterprises and an automatic Data Loss Prevention technology ("DLP") with real time continuous archiving.

Sekur eliminates many of the privacy and security risks by not only not requiring a phone number, which would divulge a user's phone device ID, but also by not social engineering a user's phone or computer contact list and infecting the contacts by default as well. Sekur issues each user a username and a SM number. The SM number is the contact ID a user would disclose in order for other SM users to be added. The service comes with a self-destruct timer and other features as well, including GlobeX's proprietary VirtualVaults and HeliX technologies with all data stored in Swiss hosted encrypted servers.

Just recently, according to an article written by Lindsey O'Donnell and posted on the website threatpost.com on June 5 2020, it was disclosed that WhatsApp phone numbers and users were searchable on Google, creating a massive security and privacy breach. Earlier in the year, an article was written about a similar flaw affecting all businesses, NGOs, UN and non-profit organizations, where WhatsApp Group members were also compromised and searchable in a reverse engineering trick done on Google.

Recent data breaches in messaging applications and in particular in the WhatsApp application have created a certain urgency for businesses and data privacy advocates to protect their communications form cyber-attacks and identity theft via mobile and desktop devices.

GlobeX's Data privacy solutions are all hosted in Switzerland, protecting users' data from any outside data intrusion requests. In Switzerland, the right to privacy is guaranteed in article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution. The Federal Act on Data Protection ("FADP") of 19 June 1992 (in force since 1993) has set up a strict protection of privacy by prohibiting virtually any processing of personal data which is not expressly authorized by the data subjects. The protection is subject to the authority of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Under Swiss federal law, it is a crime to publish information based on leaked "secret official discussions." In 2010 the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland found that IP addresses are personal information and that under Swiss privacy laws they may not be used to track Internet usage without the knowledge of the individuals involved.

GlobeX Data Rebrands DigitalSafe into SekurSafe

TORONTO, ONTARIO / ACCESSWIRE / August 19, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF)(CSE:SWIS) (“GlobeX” or the “Company”), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to announce that it has rebranded DigitalSafe, its data security, collaboration suite, password management and secure email security solution, as part of its new push for its Sekur brand of privacy and security solutions. The new brand is to be called SekurSafe and replaces DigitalSafe. SekurSafe will retain all the functions of the old DigitalSafe, including the SekurMail encrypted email solution with real time archiving, data loss prevention, anti-phishing and anti-BEC attack technology called SekurSend. GlobeX has already rebranded its website and is launching the new website for SekurSafe in August 2020. The service will be accessible both from the SekurSafe and the Sekur websites.

Alain Ghiai, CEO of GlobeX Data said: "As part of our Sekur brand launch, we have decided to complete all our branding efforts before the end of the summer, as we are expecting an increase in activity from all our distributors worldwide and this was a good time to complete the branding effort we have embarked on. SekurSafe is also going to benefit from some enterprise features we are planning to add this year. SekurSafe is part of a bigger effort to launch our Sekur brand which is being launched this month as well. DigitalSafe was the last of our three brands to be unified under the Sekur suite of privacy and security solutions and we are very happy to report that the transition to SekurSafe branding has been smooth and we expect the new website to be launched in the next few days. We had to act fast, in order to complete the transition before our emerging market distributors restart their activity, as business is slowly returning after the lock downs imposed by the COVID-19 global pandemic. We are also excited to be announcing the newest distributor of SekurSafe in the coming days, as soon as we get the all clear from the distributor to make the announcement. This distributor is a household name in over 100 countries and is a publicly traded company on the NYSE.”

GlobeX Data has been working on a new security suite called Sekur and SekurSafe is part of that suite of secure data management and secure communications solutions. The solutions are all being launched in August 2020 and replace the previous brands GlobeX Data has had since inception. The solutions are as follows:

  • SekurSafe, secure document management and sharing, collaboration, password management and secure email.

  • Sekur, secure email, secure file share and secure messaging solution.

  • SekurMail, secure email with SekurSend anti-phishing technology.

  • SekurMessenger, secure messenger and file share.

BEC attacks and email phishing attacks have increased exponentially in the last few months and the unprecedented situation of the COVID-19 pandemic has put global businesses under pressure to provide secure remote business management tools for their employees. This has created an increased awareness for secure cloud business services such as SekurSafe and Sekur, with its encrypted email service SekurMail. According to a study called sponsored by IBM called Cost of Data Breach 2020 the average cost of a data breach is US$3.86 million.

GlobeX’s Data privacy solutions are all hosted in Switzerland, protecting users’ data from any outside data intrusion requests. TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / September 15, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF) (CSE:SWIS) ("GlobeX" or the "Company"), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to report that it has opened an office in Sydney, Australia in order to service its Australia and New Zealand markets.

GlobeX is planning to sell its secure document management, file share, password management and secure email suite SekurSafe, and its secure communications suite of secure email, secure file sharing and encrypted messaging solution Sekur, starting this month as preliminary discussions have started with potential distributors in Sydney, NSW and Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Company has identified over 500 potential IT resellers in the Commonwealth of Australia and is planning to select a few qualified resellers in the coming months, with the first distribution lined up before the end of this year. GlobeX plans to also offer its security solutions to the general public by late October, by creating a special landing page with AUD pricing. GlobeX will offer Sekur at AUD 9.99/month/user and SekurSafe at AUD 49.99/user/month.

Alain Ghiai, CEO of GlobeX Data said: "We are happy to bring our Swiss hosted security and privacy solutions to the Commonwealth of Australia and to New Zealand. Whether you are an individual, a SME, an Enterprise or a government organization, you need protection from email cyber-attacks, and data theft. GlobeX is here to provide the proper protection to all documents, emails and instant message communications."

According to a publication by Cybersecurityinsider-insiders.com, Australia is one of the top 9 countries most vulnerable to cyber-attacks and the average cost of cyber-crime per occurrence in Australia is USD 4.3 million. According to an article published on August 27 2020 on abc.net.au, the New Zealand stock market suffered a crash for at least four days due to a major cyber-attack. In Australia, according to an article published June 19 2020, Australia has been the victim of State sponsored cyber-attacks. According to a publication by website Statista.com, 57% of New Zealanders and 59% of Australians have been victims of cyber-crimes as of December 2019.

GlobeX Data on Track to Beat Sekur Sales Targets

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / September 8, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF)(CSE:SWIS) ("GlobeX" or the "Company"), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to report that, after consulting with our distribution network, we can confirm that despite the economic slowdown in many of the countries GlobeX has distribution agreements, sales of Sekur will meet or beat our internal targets for 2020 sales.

After discussing with several of its distributors in Canada, USA, Latin America, the Bahamas, and South Asia; GlobeX has been able to compile an estimate of sales for Sekur for the remainder of this year. Although most markets are still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic economic damages, sales are expected to attract a minimum of 1,000 paid users and reach a potential of 5,000 paid users in 2020, depending on economic factors, bringing recurring yearly gross sales of US$70,000 to US$350,000 for 2020, through distributors, with an estimated increase of 100% in volume of paid subscribers sold for 2021 as the Company expands into other markets, such as the Middle East, Africa and Australia. The licenses in South Asia are paid on a yearly basis in advance, as they are activated. GlobeX expected a lower paid subscriber base in 2020, due to the economic damage inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic, however, cyber-attacks and BEC attacks on enterprises and government infrastructures has created an immediate need for Sekur.

The Company has already received interest for Sekur for 2,000 users in South Asia and Central America from two distributors, and is working diligently to try to close these opportunities before December 31 2020. The Company is also having advanced discussions with its distributor in Toronto Canada, Darn IT Group, in order to find large scale distribution in Canada and has had early discussions with a large distributor that wishes to remain anonymous due to the nature of the discussions as the distributor is looking at a possible exclusivity agreement for Canada.

Sekur includes the Company's proprietary anti-phishing and privacy feature called SekurSend®.

One of the many Privacy and security features of Sekur is that the user does not register with their phone number, eliminating a huge loophole in security and privacy.

Sekur is available for purchase immediately in USD, and will be available in local currencies in CAD, CHF, EUR, AUD and NZD by mid-October, in order to be able to penetrate other markets and sell to distributors and directly to businesses and consumers through email marketing and social media awareness.

Globex Data Launches "Sekur", Its Swiss Hosted Highly Secure Email and Messaging Solution Worldwide

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / August 31, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF)(CSE:SWIS) ("GlobeX" or the "Company"), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to announce that it has officially launched worldwide its Sekur encrypted email, messaging and file transfer solution bundle. The service is available at Sekur.com and Sekur.ch.

Sekur is the Company's Swiss hosted secure communications suite, which includes encrypted messaging and voice recording transfer with self-destruct timer, an encrypted email account and a secure file transfer solution. All data is secured using GlobeX's proprietary encryption technology and is hosted exclusively in Switzerland for ultimate privacy.

Sekur also launched SekurPro, which includes voice and video conferencing encryption, over the web. Other versions are currently available for GlobeX's distributors only. These versions are SekurMessenger for encrypted messaging, voice recording transfer and file share only, and SekurEmail which is the secure email only without the messaging part. These versions have been created at the demand of existing telecom partner America Movil S.A.B de C.V (NYSE:AMX) and other partners in South Asia looking to offer different variations of Sekur.

Sekur currently offers the following subscriptions:

  • SOLO for 1 user at US$9.99/month or US$99.90/yr.
  • TEAM for 5 users at US$49.99/month or US$499.90/yr.
  • TEAM PRO for 10 users at US$99.99/month or US$999.90/yr.
  • SME for 25 users at US$249.99/month or US$2,499.90/yr.
  • PRO for 1 user at US$49.99/month or US$499.90/yr.

TEAM, TEAM PRO and SME plans come with a @sekur.com email, a private company domain email registration, full migration of business emails from other ISP providers to the SekurMail platform and administrative features for businesses. Other features for business users will be developed as the solution evolves.

GlobeX Data is launching Sekur in local currencies in CHF, EUR, CAD, AUD and NZD by mid-October, in order to be able to create reseller landing pages and sell directly to business and consumers in Canada, Switzerland, European Union and Australia and New Zealan, through email marketing.

Sekur includes the Company's proprietary anti-phishing and privacy feature called SekurSend®.

One of the many Privacy and security features of Sekur is that the user does not register with their phone number, eliminating a huge loophole in security and privacy. Just recently, according to an article written by Lindsey O'Donnell and posted on the website threatpost.com on June 5 2020, it was disclosed that WhatsApp phone numbers and users were searchable on Google, creating a massive security and privacy breach. Recent data breaches in messaging applications and in particular in the WhatsApp application have created a certain urgency for businesses and data privacy advocates to protect their communications form cyber-attacks and identity theft via mobile and desktop devices.

Alain Ghiai, CEO of GlobeX Data said: "Whether you are an individual, a SMB, an Enterprise or a government organization, you need protection from email cyber-attacks, and Sekur provides the proper protection to all emails and instant message communications. We have received a lot of interest from our distributors who cater to SMB and Enterprises and we look forward to launch Sekur globally. We are represented by agreements in 35 countries worldwide and we plan to push instantly from next month on to all these markets. Additionally, we have received interest from High Net-Worth Individuals and their asset managers, as HNWIs and their bankers and lawyers are a prime target of cyber-attacks through their use of large cloud providers email and WhatsApp. The service is so easy to use that we do not expect any issues in adopting this secure communications solution."

GlobeX's Data privacy solutions are all hosted in Switzerland, protecting users' data from any outside data intrusion requests. Goldman Sachs Report on Foreign Exposed Techs Beneficial for GlobeX Data

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / July 29, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF) (CSE:SWIS) ("GlobeX" or the "Company"), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to announce that a report issued by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) advised that Investors should consider U.S. technology stocks with high International exposures. The report has been published on Bloomberg.com on July 26 2020 and can be seen by clicking this link Bloomberg.com Goldman Sachs Group report. The report validates GlobeX's strategy to develop its channel distribution in over 20 countries spanning all continents of the globe.

In the last twelve months, GlobeX Data has signed distribution agreements in over 20 countries located in North America, Central America, The Caribbean, South America, South and South East Asia, Australasia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In Central and Latin America alone, the Company has agreements in place to sell its solutions in 11 countries. In the Middle East, the Company is engaged in distribution in most of the G.C.C. countries and is planning to sign more agreements in the next coming weeks and months, in order to cover the entire Arab Gulf region and several countries in Africa. In Canada, where GlobeX has its headquarters in Toronto, the Company is preparing a campaign with its distributor Darn IT Group once the launch of GlobeX's latest secure communications application Sekur is official.

Additional to its global footprint of distribution, GlobeX Data has offices in Mexico, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Switzerland, and is planning to open a representative office in India later this year. The Company's Mexico office handles all of Central and Latin America's business. Its main offices are in Toronto, Canada and its subsidiary's office are in New York, USA.

Alain Ghiai, CEO of GlobeX Data said: "We have spent the last 12 months building our International network of distributors and are expecting to see the first revenues by Q4 2020. COVID-19 has delayed the completion of sales in the Emerging Markets by about nine months, however, we are seeing some rapid increases in activity in South Asia with other regions showing signs of early business activity. We expect to ramp sales by Q4 2020 and go in full force mode in 2021. Most of the Emerging Markets are just re-opening their economies and all are embracing WFH mode so this is going to be a very good boost for our remote work security solutions. Based to what we hear from our distributors, we expect that recurring sales from the Emerging Markets alone would exceed USD 1,000,000 in 2021 (based on approx. 12,500 subscribers paying USD 80/year/user) resulting in a company wide net profit of USD 700,000 for the year based on our expected company wide expenses for 2021 of USD 300,000. Sales for 2022 are expected to double the previous year with Company expenses maintained at around USD 500,000 for all of 2022. Our strategy was to spread our geographic risk in all five continents spanning over 20 countries. This permits GlobeX to have a variety of economies contributing to its sales and bottom line. Cybersecurity is a global phenomenon and we want to be present globally in order to help businesses worldwide fight cyber crime and protect their data."

In addition to International sales, GlobeX is planning to launch its Sekur encrypted email and messaging solution to millions of business users in the USA through direct email campaign and social media in September of this year. It is also preparing a campaign to launch a channel distribution program in the USA and Canada as well.

GlobeX's Data privacy solutions are all hosted in Switzerland, protecting users' data from any outside data intrusion requests. In Switzerland, the right to privacy is guaranteed in article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution. GlobeX Data to Launch a Highly Secure Email and Messaging Security Application in the USA

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / July 21, 2020 / GlobeX Data Ltd. (OTCQB:SWISF)(CSE:SWIS) ("GlobeX" or the "Company"), the leader in Swiss hosted cyber security and Internet privacy solutions for secure data management and secure communications, is pleased to announce that it is ready to launch its Sekur encrypted email and messaging security solution in August 2020. GlobeX will launch Sekur.com and its applications on the iOS AppStore and Google Play marketplace for Android devices at the same time.

Demand for Sekur has been building up as consumers and businesses are looking at protecting their personal and business emails in light of increased BEC attacks and email phishing attacks. The Company is working with several marketing companies in order to identify premium consumers and business targets in the USA for direct email campaigns. The first marketing test campaign is planned to start in the second half of August with approximately 50,000 identified users. Cost for this marketing company is expected to be USD 3500 for the campaign and a credit card processing fee of approximately USD 0.70/account sold. Sekur will launch 3 pricing plans to start with more plans to follow. The plans are: SOLO, for single users at USD 9.99/month or USD 99.90/year; Team for up to 5 users at USD 59.99/month and USD 599.90/year and SME for up to 25 users at USD 299.99/month and USD 2,999.90/year. Both TEAM and SME plans come with private company domain registration and full migration of business emails from other ISP providers to the SekurMail platform and administrative features for businesses. Other features for business users will be developed as the solution evolves.

According to Campaign Monitor, a leading Email Marketing company, the email open rates can vary depending on the subject line and the relevancy of the subject matter at an average open rate of 17.80%. The Click-through rate averages 2.6% of the open rate. Should the Company achieve similar results, the Company will increase its budget to target 1,000,000 users in order to acquire approx. 4,628 users generating monthly gross revenues of USD 46,233 and monthly net revenues of USD 42,994. The cost of acquiring the 1 million emails would be USD 35,000. Total acquisition cost at this conversion rate would be USD 38,290, generating a profit within the first month of the campaign.

Sekur is the Company's Swiss hosted secure communications suite, which includes encrypted messaging with self-destruct timer powered by the Company's and an encrypted email service. The Company plans to push the Sekur brand as a secure communications suite in addition to its existing DigitalSafe brand which is the Company's document management and collaboration suite. Sekur will include 100GB of email and message storage and encrypted messaging with self-destruct timer. All data is hosted in Switzerland for ultimate privacy. Sekur will also come in other versions, Sekur Messenger for encrypted messaging only, Sekur Email which will only have encrypted email. Future releases of Sekur including voice and video encryption and video conferencing will be deployed in the next 12 months and will have different price points.

The service will include the Company's proprietary and newly branded features called SekurSend® and SekurReply® anti-phishing encrypted email solution. SekurSend® lets a user send an email to any other recipient, whether they have Sekur or not, in full privacy and security as the email never leaves Sekur's encrypted email servers based in Switzerland. The recipient can then click on the notification and reply in the same manner using SekurReply®, without the recipient having to purchase Sekur. This is also a guarantee to eliminate BEC attacks for businesses and email phishing attacks. Additionally, Sekur will include the Company's latest technology, which include full control of email delivery, data export for SMB and large Enterprises and an automatic Data Loss Prevention technology ("DLP") with real time continuous archiving.

Earlier in the year, an article was written about a similar flaw affecting all businesses, NGOs, UN and non-profit organizations, where WhatsApp Group members were also compromised and searchable in a reverse engineering trick done on Google.

Recent data breaches in messaging applications and in particular in the WhatsApp application have created a certain urgency for businesses to protect their communications form cyber-attacks and identity theft via mobile devices.
